Your data is under your control. When you disconnect your Meta account, your data enters a 30-day grace period before permanent deletion. You can restore your data anytime within this period by simply reconnecting. This feature protects you from accidental disconnections while ensuring you maintain full control over your information.

📋How to Request Data Deletion

Step 1: Disconnect Your Meta Account

Go to your Integrations page in AdlyticX and click "Disconnect" on your Meta integration. This will:

Revoke Meta API permissions immediately

Mark your ad accounts for deletion (30-day grace period begins)

Stop all data syncing immediately

Hide accounts from your dashboard

Step 2: 30-Day Grace Period Begins

During the next 30 days, your data is preserved but hidden. You'll receive deletion warnings to remind you:

📧Day 23: Warning email (7 days remaining)

📧Day 27: Warning email (3 days remaining)

📧Day 29: Final warning (1 day remaining)

Important: Data is Preserved

During this 30-day period, all your historical data (campaigns, ads, insights) remains in our database. You can reconnect anytime to restore access.

Step 3: Restore or Wait for Deletion

You have two options during the 30-day grace period:

Reconnect your Meta account anytime within 30 days. Your historical data will be instantly restored, and syncing will resume.

If you don't reconnect within 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.

Step 4: Permanent Deletion (After 30 Days)

If you don't reconnect within 30 days, our automated cleanup task will permanently delete:

✕All Meta ad account data

✕All campaigns, ad sets, and ads

✕All historical insights and metrics

✕All creative assets and metadata

Final Confirmation

You'll receive a final confirmation email after permanent deletion is complete. After this point, data recovery is impossible.

Disconnect Your Account

Simply disconnect your Meta ad accounts from Adlyticx in your account settings. This stops us from accessing new data but doesn't delete existing data.

Revoke Access via Facebook

You can revoke Adlyticx's access directly through your Facebook account settings. Go to Settings → Apps and Websites → Adlyticx and remove access.

Request Full Account Deletion

For complete removal including all data, use the process above to send us a formal data deletion request.

How long does deletion take?

When you disconnect, your data enters a 30-day grace period. During this time, data is hidden but preserved. Permanent deletion occurs automatically after 30 days. You'll receive warning emails at 7, 3, and 1 days before final deletion.

Can I recover my data after disconnecting?

Yes! During the 30-day grace period, you can reconnect your Meta account anytime to instantly restore all your historical data. After 30 days, recovery is impossible.

Will Meta delete my ads?

No. Adlyticx only accesses analytics data. Disconnecting from Adlyticx or deleting your data doesn't affect your actual Meta ads, ad accounts, or campaigns.

What happens to team members when I disconnect?

Team members lose access to your ad accounts immediately when you disconnect. If you reconnect within 30 days, you'll need to manually re-assign team members.

What about backups?

Backups containing your data are deleted per our data retention policy. Backups are not directly accessible.

Is there a fee for deletion?

No. Data deletion is completely free. No questions asked.
